As one of the largest multi-sectoral convenings to advance gender equality, the Women Deliver 2023 Conference and Global Dialogue are co-created by grassroots advocates, multilateral governments, the private sector, philanthropies, and youth, including from and representing communities facing systemic discrimination.

The theme of WD2023 is Spaces, Solidarity, and Solutions, and it aims to will enable inclusive and co-created spaces that foster solidarity for sustainable solutions on gender equality. While the focus of the conference is sexual and reproductive health and rights, it as well envisages to cover the many intersecting issues impacting girls and women — from climate change to gender-based violence and harassment, to unpaid and paid care work and the gender pay gap — and collectively identify action evidence-based solutions.

The event will be an opportunity to amplify interest in innovative and practical solutions and in promising global initiatives to reduce the gender pay gap in the health and care sector, also in times of crises. Special guests will engage in a dynamic discussion to advance equal pay for work of equal value globally and take tailored action at country level.
