2011, Substantive Labour Code, Section 143 Available, in the original version, here. Substantive Labour Code Section 143 provides that equal salary must correspond to equal work performed and that no differences can be established in salary for reasons of sex.
As per Section 4, the Substantive Labour Code does not apply to public servants and workers of public companies.
Section 127 of the Substantive Labour Code defines salaries as "not only ordinary remuneration, fixed or variable, but also everything a worker receives, in cash or in kind, as a direct payment for services, regardless of the form or denomination it adopts, such as premiums, allowances, regular bonuses, payments for extra working time or for work on mandatory rest days, and percentages on sales and commissions."
