Law on Minimum Wage from 2018 provides in Section 4 that "A wage shall be at least equal to a minimum wage which is the statutory lowest wage and is determined by Prakas of the Minister of the Ministry in Charge of Labour." (unofficial translation)
The Kingdom of Cambodia also sets a minimum wage for workers in garment and footwear industries. Prakas No. 303/20 from 10 September 2020 on the Minimum Wage Determination for Workers in Textile, Garment and Footwear Sectors for 2021, the minimum wage of workers in the textile, garment and footwear industries is US$192 per month.
